Traditional Silver Large Format Photographer

I create photographs using 8×10”, 8×20”, and 11×14” large format view cameras, each image matching the size of the full negative produced by these cameras. Every print is meticulously crafted in a traditional darkroom on silver emulsion photographic paper, then toned to ensure archival quality and longevity. While these cameras and their accompanying gear are undeniably bulky, heavy, and challenging to use in the field, I embrace these obstacles in the relentless pursuit of the finest visual detail and tonal richness that traditional photographic methods can achieve. For me, the final result always justifies the effort.

My photography is guided by intuition and a deep connection to what visually moves me. I see potential in everything—from sweeping landscapes and weathered homesteads to waterways, abstract forms, and the intricate stories hidden in inanimate objects.

My goal is to delve deeper, uncover meaning, and share that vision through my work.
